About My Story

Hi, my name is Trina, and I am Storyteller.

Since I was a child I have enjoyed connecting with people through stories. I have often thought that I must see the world differently than others, an optimist. I look at the world, at things, to understand - history intrigues me, photos compel me, and the written word reaches me. Communication is my biggest gift and I share that through photos and words.

But. You're here to learn about me. Briefly. Whew. I'll try. Like Ogre's I have layers. I am a wife, mother, daughter, and friend. I love with my whole heart and give Grace freely. My daughter, Scarlett, is often featured in my "free" work because I am her biggest fan. Scarlett is a special needs adult who is genuinely the most amazing human you can meet. She has inspired me to do so much in this life in her honor. Being a mother to a special needs person is not without stress or heartbreak but that's a story for a different day. However, it has taught me that life is both precious and wonderful and to live every moment.

I am involved with my community and volunteer for the Fort Bend Junior Services League and I also work for a company that serves the senior population.

I am obsessed with coffee, dogs, and pizza.

I am truly honored and humbled to have been a photographer for nearly 20 years and professional for over a decade. I am invited into amazing and profound moments in peoples' lives and that fact is not lost on me. What a blessing it has been to stand in my purpose and show and tell stories for others to find emotion in.

Frequently Asked Questions

What are your hours?: Currently, Trina books Friday early evening, Saturday and Sunday both in the early morning and early evening. Reach out to Trina directly to book your session as exceptions could be made.
Where are you located?: Trina is located in Richmond, TX, and does sessions within a 12 mile radius of 77406. However, travel can be accommodated for additional fees.
Do you accept reservations?: All sessions are to be booked in advance with a deposit to hold the session.

DEPOSITS ARE ALWAYS REQUIRED: In order to secure bookings, a 50% Deposit plus the cost of any additional items (such as use of The Studio) is due to at time of bookings. Dates cannot be held without a deposit. In the event of Client cancellations without rescheduling the deposit will be forefit. However, with forty-eight (48) hours notice of cancellation each deposit is transferable and good for One (1) reschedule for the Client. If the Photographer needs to reschedule, that does not affect the Client's "One Reschedule."
What payment options do you accept?: Cash and all major credit cards.
How long is the typical wait?: Sessions are booked on a first come, first served basis. No session is considered "booked" unless a deposit is in place. If there is a date you need, it is suggested that you book it before someone else does.

Do you have a cancellation policy?: CANCELLATION/POSTPONEMENT: Sessions are non-refundable, but deposits are transferable if a date change is necessary (48 hours notice of postponements or cancellations is required). Notwithstanding the forgoing, Photographer understands the "life happens" please maintain open communication with Photographer and grace can be extended at Photographer's discretion.

WEATHER: If sessions are canceled due to weather, Photographer and Client will reschedule at the earliest date possible, with no issues.

COOPERATION/NO SHOWS: Client will arrive 10 minutes early due to short shooting window. Photographer is not responsible if Client and/or key individuals fail to appear or cooperate during portrait sessions.
